Jihan Abu Al Rubb, She made it but dreams of more

The strong personality of Jihan Abu Al Rubb and her persuasive capacities have clear impact on changing the attitudes of the people of Jalboon in Jenin in the north of the West Bank. Her capacity to persuade has also convinced her family to start their own business in order to improve their income and to contribute to the education of Jihan's brother.  

Maysoon Sbihat :Success starts with one step

  Maysoon Sbihat, 36, believes that success starts with a small step followed by major steps of progress. She lives in Rumana west of Jenin in the north of the West Bank.

Salwa Rishmawi

  Salwa Rishmawi is a 60 year old mother of three children.  She lives in Beit Sahour, a city near Bethlehem with her family.  Selwa and her family began selling vegetables in bulk in 2003, after taking a loan for USD $5,000 from Asala. Selwa, her husband and her son did well prior to the first Palestinian uprising in 2000 making and selling clothing.
