 In September 2008, the Palestinian Businesswomen's Association; Asala, distributed 113 loans valued at USD $201,900.  Of these total loans, 69 loans were disbursed in the West Bank valued at USD $173, 100, and 44 loans were disbursed in the Gaza Strip valued at USD $28,800.  Through Asala's follow up field visits for its clients, 1175 field visits took place in September of them, 469 visits were in the West Bank and 706 were in the Gaza Strip.  Through the women's economical empowerment and development project; Irada, one training course was given in the Talfeet Association where 8 Palestinian women benefited.
